Electronic Health Record (EHR) Sub-Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the Electronic Health Record Subcommittee is:

• To create a forum for the sharing and discussion of issues of common interest related to EHR initiatives from within the broader healthcare industry
• To identify industry-wide challenges pertaining to EHR initiatives – actual and future planned
• To recommend standards and or guidelines to address these challenges

Scope

• Research and information sharing between industry role players
• Inclusive of private and public sectors

Out-of-Scope

• Implementation of legislative or regulatory matters pertaining to EHR
• Imposition on intellectual property or proprietary aspects of existing EHR businesses
